terms of service
the plain-english terms for using dsl·ai. use it and you're agreeing to them.
last updated: 10 june 2026
acceptance
by using dsl·ai you agree to these terms. if you don't agree, please don't use the service.
what dsl·ai is
dsl·ai is a free, no-account tool that turns your domain-specific language's grammar into guaranteed-valid generation and a deterministic validator, running entirely in your browser. it's built by ogbuilds, a uk-based studio.
eligibility
dsl·ai is a developer tool intended for use by people aged 13 or over. there are no accounts to create, so you're not responsible for any credentials with us. just for how you use the tool.
acceptable use
you agree not to:
- use dsl·ai for anything illegal, or to infringe anyone's rights;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, or abuse the service, or scrape it in a way that degrades it for others;
- reverse engineer or copy the service to build a competing product (the source is publicly visible as part of building in public, but that's not a grant of rights to the brand or to redistribute it as your own).
dsl·ai's generation and validation run on your own grammars and input. the output is provided as-is. review it before relying on it in production.
your content & ip
the grammars and input you provide are yours. the playground runs locally, so they never leave your browser, and we never receive, store, or claim any rights over them. ogbuilds owns the dsl·ai software, brand, and site.
disclaimers
dsl·ai is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. while grammar-constrained output is valid by construction and validation is deterministic, we don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. you remain responsible for reviewing any output before you use it.
limitation of liability
to the fullest extent permitted by law, ogbuilds will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of dsl·ai. because dsl·ai is free, our total liability to you is capped at £100. nothing here limits liability that can't be limited under law.
future paid features
the roadmap includes optional paid tiers (a hosted api, ci validation, retrieval over your docs, and optional fine-tuning). none of that exists today, and these terms cover only the free, local playground. if and when paid features launch, additional terms covering billing, renewal, and cancellation will apply and be presented before you subscribe.
termination
you can stop using dsl·ai at any time. we may suspend or withdraw the service, in whole or in part, including for misuse or to protect the service.
governing law
these terms are governed by the laws of england & wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
changes
we may update these terms; we'll change the date above when we do, and continued use of dsl·ai means you accept the updated terms.
